It is my personal testimony that music has indeed saved my life. Kanye wasn’t lying when he said that music is the only medicine. Bob Marley wasn’t exaggerating when he said that the one good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain. The amazing people at Vice have joined forces with UK raptress NoLay to discuss the role music has played in her coping with the mental illness of her father and herself.
